About Metriqcon

Metriqcon is a free unit converter built for people who need exact numbers fast — contractors reading a tape measure, engineers checking a spec sheet, students working through homework, and cooks scaling a recipe.

Why it exists

Most converters make you do the arithmetic somewhere else first. If you need to convert three boards of 12 inches plus a 6.5-inch offcut, you shouldn't need a separate calculator. On Metriqcon you type (12*3)+6.5 straight into the box and the result updates as you type. It's the only client-side unit converter with an inline live math expression parser.

How it works

• Exact factors: conversions use internationally defined values — 1 inch is exactly 2.54 cm, 1 pound is exactly 0.45359237 kg, and temperatures use the exact offset formulas rather than rounded shortcuts.
